What we collect

Nothing. The TERRAX TECH app does not collect, store on servers, transmit, or share any personal information or usage data. It has no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no network features.

Bluetooth

The app uses Bluetooth Low Energy solely to discover and control your TERRAX accessories, such as rock lights, light strips, interior ambient lighting, and electric running boards.

Bluetooth communication happens directly between your phone and the accessory. It never passes through a server and never leaves your device.

Permissions

The app asks for the following permissions and nothing else:

• Bluetooth (Nearby devices) — to find and control your TERRAX accessories.
• Location (Android 11 and older only) — Android requires the Location permission to scan for Bluetooth devices on these versions. If the app asks for it, it is used only to make Bluetooth scanning work. The app never reads, stores or transmits your location. On Android 12 and newer the app uses the Bluetooth permissions instead and does not ask for location at all.

On iPhone, the app asks only for Bluetooth access.

The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, photos, files, or any other data.

Data stored on your device

Your saved accessories, the names and categories you give them, and your app settings are stored only on your phone. Deleting the app deletes this data.

Children

The app collects no data from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
